Yesterday we rolled out from#Loyangalani for #Marsabit. We thought it’s going to be a cool 270km ride with the wind blowing through our hair. Hahahahaha, another 12 hours later we rolled into Marsabit. Dit was hard, baie hard!!! Woestyn, sand, sand, sand en klippe, klippe, klippe!!! Our #Zambesimotorrad #GS1200LC #BMW worked overtime. Die job loop mooi. The #Continental #TKC80 tyres did the job again. I won’t recommend any other tyre to tackle this harsh terrain. We had to buy petrol at one of the villages by the bucket. Our Racor petrol filter funnel had to do their job again, filtering out water and granules. Ek moet sê mense, ek dink ons was op een van die mees afgeleë plekke op hierdie aarde. Jy ry vir honderde kilometers waar daar net niks is nie. Dit was regtig ‘n baie, baie nice ondervinding. Wel ons praat weer later, ek moet gaan pak. Ons rol vandag in Ethiopië in. Cheers, KORTPAD
